Skulduggery Pleasant

Skulduggery Pleasant follows Stephanie Edgley, a twelve-year-old girl who inherits her late uncle’s estate and discovers that his horror stories were actually based on the secret world of magic and monsters. She meets Skulduggery Pleasant, a wisecracking skeleton detective and sorcerer, and joins him in investigating her uncle’s death. Together, they uncover a dangerous plot involving the evil sorcerer Nefarian Serpine and must work to stop him from unleashing a powerful magical weapon.
