Clover Moon

There is a girl called Clover Moon who lives with her dad and her cruel stepmother, Mildred and her sister Megs. Clover liked looking after all the children in the neighbourhood. She liked visiting a doll maker called Mr Dolly who worked in Dolls A’plenty. One day, Clover Moon was walking around with Baby Tommy who had scarlet fever, she was worried because she might’ve got scarlet fever. She met a sketcher called Mr Rivers who illustrated Megs for his book. Mildred locked her up in a dark place for 2 days but eventually she got let out. Later, Clover’s sister Megs caught Scarlet Fever, Clover Moon looked after her until she died. Mildred & Clover’s father went to the funeral and Clover Moon sneaked into Megs’ funeral. After Megs’ funeral, she couldn’t take it anymore and she ran away to look for Miss Sarah Smith’s Home for Destitute Girls, Clover Moon met a actress and she helped her find Miss Sarah Smith’s. The person Clover Moon met at the door tried to get the actress away. Eventually, She got introduced to everyone. There was someone working with Miss Smith called Sissy who she liked staying with. She liked and taught many young girls who were always angry and taught them the Alphabet (4 letters). Mr Rivers turned up and the illustration of Megs was in his book. Mildred turned up and wanted Clover Moon to come back and Clover became a nursery maid.
