At KidsBookstore.ng, we’re committed to making it easy and reliable for families across Nigeria to receive their books quickly and safely. Please review our shipping terms below for details on processing times, delivery options, and what to expect after placing your order.

  1. Order Processing & Dispatch

Once you place your order, we’ll process it within 3–5 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays).
After processing, your order will be dispatched through one of our trusted courier partners. You’ll receive a notification (via email, SMS, or WhatsApp) with your tracking information once your order is on its way.

Please double-check your delivery address and contact details when placing your order. We cannot take responsibility for delays or extra costs resulting from incorrect information.

  1. Shipping Options & Delivery Times

We deliver across Nigeria, and estimated timelines depend on your location and the option selected at checkout.

Lagos & Nearby Areas:

Standard Door Delivery: 1–3 business days after dispatch

Same-day / Express Delivery: Available in select Lagos LGAs (eligible orders only; see checkout for options)

Other States (Nationwide):

Standard Delivery: 3–7 business days after dispatch

Remote / Rural Areas: May take up to 10 business days

Note: Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to factors beyond our control, such as weather, logistics network, or peak season volumes.

  1. Shipping Rates

Shipping fees are automatically calculated at checkout based on:

  • Delivery address
  • Package weight and volume
  • Delivery speed or option selected

Typical guidelines:

Within Lagos (mainland/island): Lower delivery rate

Outside Lagos/Other states: Higher rate based on distance

Occasionally, we offer free shipping promotions for orders above a certain value — check current offers at checkout.

  1. International Shipping

At this time, we primarily deliver within Nigeria.
If you’re outside Nigeria and wish to order, please contact our Customer Support Team to discuss available options, applicable fees, and delivery timelines.

  1. Delivery Address & Changes

Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address, including street name, landmarks, and an active phone number.

If you need to update your delivery address after placing an order, contact us immediately. We’ll make every effort to update it before dispatch; however, changes cannot be guaranteed once the parcel is in transit.

If delivery fails due to an incorrect address or inability to reach you, additional re-delivery charges may apply.

  1. Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number and link to monitor your delivery in real time.

If you don’t receive tracking details within 24–72 hours of dispatch, please reach out to Customer Support for assistance.

  1. Delays & Exceptions

We strive to deliver all orders promptly, but occasional delays may occur due to:

  • Courier network disruptions
  • Adverse weather or public holidays
  • Peak shopping seasons
  • Remote delivery locations

In the event of a delay, we’ll do our best to notify you and assist with updates. However, KidsBookstore.ng is not responsible for delays caused by external courier networks or events beyond our control.

  1. Missing or Damaged Items

Please inspect your package as soon as it arrives.

If your order is missing items or arrives damaged:

  • Take clear photos of the outer packaging and the affected items.
  • Contact Customer Support within 48 hours of delivery.
  • Provide your order number and supporting photos.

We’ll investigate promptly and, where applicable, arrange for a replacement or refund in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy.

  1. Returned or Uncollected Packages

If your parcel is returned to us because:

The address provided was incorrect, or

The courier was unable to reach you after multiple attempts –

You may be responsible for additional shipping costs to resend your order.

If you prefer a refund instead, please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.
